How a 1972 Desktop Music Vault works

I am so thankful for this YouTube channel because it not only shows some really awesome mechanical tech from yesteryear, but it also shows all the inner workings in great detail with wonderful explanations of how it's all working together to do what we consider to be simple things today (like playing music).

Here's a 1972 desktop music vault known as the Panasonic RS-296US. It was a cassette player with 20 slots that allowed you to program music to play in a specific order from any number of cassette combinations.
