Better window management in Mac OS X with Spectacle

I previously used Moom for my window management in OS X, but somebody told me about Spectacle today and I went ahead and jumped ship from Moom. The main reason? Spectacle is free and still manages to offer just about all the customization and options that Moom has. The thing I use Spectacle most for is the keyboard shortcuts for window placement. I can easily fill half of my screen real estate with any app window with just a few key presses. While El Capitan (which I upgraded to recently) has a split-screen workspace, it isn't as productive as one would hope. I mean, on the iPad it makes sense, but on a computer? You're better off with Spectacle.
