Saying goodbye (and hello!) to Doobybrain.com

The final screenshot of the old Doobybrain.com

The final screenshot of the old Doobybrain.com

I can hardly believe that it's been over 6 months already since I stopped posting to [the old] Doobybrain.com. Since then, I've been blogging steadily over at HermanYung.com with a slightly more focused intent. Still silly here and there, but a lot more writing altogether. I liked it a lot. I just really missed calling the site 'Doobybrain'. So after some consideration, I'm reviving the Doobybrain name. I'm not quite sure what I'm going to do with the site over at HermanYung.com, but for now, I guess that'll just lay dormant just like the old Doobybrain was.

Today, I am proud to present the new and hopefully improved Doobybrain.com!

It's got the same name as the old site but all the goodness of the refocused nature of HermanYung.com. Yes, I know it's all very confusing. But trust me, it's all run by the same person -- ME!

There are a few things I want to make note of though for those of you who intend to be regular readers. The biggest new change is that some of the post titles will link you directly to another website. You'll know if that's the case because headlines with a right-pointing arrow at the end of the post title will have this action. Everything else works just like a regular blog would.

Secondly, although the site is now officially live, it is very much a work in progress. I'll keep any broken links down to a minimum but just know that any 'Collections' may or may not appear as intended as I get the feel of this new site.

And lastly, if you genuinely miss the old Doobybrain.com website, I've moved the entire site to an archive which you can find here. There will be no updates to that archived site -- it is just for viewing purposes.

So there you have it! Doobybrain is back! I hope you all read, share, and keep in touch!
