What it's like for a tourist to eat in North Korea

Aram Pan does not live in North Korea, but through sheer luck and perseverance, he has been allowed into the country multiple times to photograph and film. His specialty is in 360-degree panoramas which you can see on his website, DPRK 360.

In the video below he shows off some of the meals that he's had in North Korea. Meals that one can assume most North Koreans have not eaten or seen in a very long time. While many tourists to North Korea are shown and taken to the same foods and restaurants, Aram notes in the video here that some of these locations are not on the official tourist itinerary for the country. That is to say, that this is a very unique look at North Korea from somebody other than the North Korean government.
