Abandoned Spring Garden School in Philly will house homeless vets

I wanted to come here so badly and I almost did last year, but unfortunately, I waited too long. But it's not all bad news. The vacant and former-abandoned Spring Garden School in Philly (there are two of them, I'm talking about the one on N 12th Street and Ogden Street) is finally being renovated and used for housing for homeless vets.

The photo above is from this past weekend and you can see they've already gutted most of the inside and fenced off the property. Looks like this will be coming up real fast.
