I never quite knew the full story of what happened to Amanda Knox, the young American woman who set off an international news frenzy after being accused and found guilty of murdering her roommate in Italy. To me, the story sort of just ended there -- I figured it was an open and shut case. But wow, it wasn't. And the real story goes so much deeper, exposing inherent biases in the Italian police and court system and how essentially Amanda wasn't ever given a fair trial.
