Recycled: An anonymous portrait of Beijing made from 30 years of negatives

Chinese artist Lei Lei took 3000 images from French collector Thomas Sauvin's 35mm archive and created this anonymous portrait of Beijing that dates back 30 years. Sauvin's film archive is made up of about half a million negatives taken from a Beijing recycling plant used to filter silver nitrate. So many people passing by in this video...makes you wonder what each individual story is.
