Vincent Lamouroux's Bates Motel art piece in LA is still there (and still white)

I happened upon this by accident while I was driving down Sunset Blvd.

I totally forgot about French artist Vincent Lamouroux's "ProjectionLA" piece that covers the entire former Bates Motel (also known as the Sunset Pacific Motel). I read about it when it was done back in April of last year but never got a chance to see it in person. Over time, I just assumed it would be torn down completely and that Vincent's final piece here was just a last hoorah for the abandoned lot.

Nope. It's still there. Granted, it's not as white and pristine as it was when it was done almost a year ago, but it's surprisingly intact as an art piece. There are remnants of graffiti -- covered up with more white paint by somebody (maybe Vincent himself?) but overall the structure retains its stark whiteness compared to the other colorful structures around it.

Those who are willing can go into the Bates Motel and explore the white interior (there's a very obvious way to get beyond the fenced portion of the building...hint hint: check the rear.) but just know that doing so can get you arrested for trespassing.
