You can drive the old MTA Redbird trains in this Subway simulator

This isn't the first time I've heard about the World of Subways series of video game simulators. I've been fascinated with the 4th in the series specifically because you can drive the old MTA Redbirds along the 7 Line from Times Square to Main Street-Flushing. Re-live the magic of these aging trains from flickering lights to noisy interiors. Geez, even the conductor's cabin is noisy! Was that really what it was like? Thank goodness it's one of the shorter lines, right?

Anyway, the game is available on Steam if you're interested. If not, you can watch the 40-minute video above of the entire simulation from start to finish. Pretty good on detail, no?
