Astroland by Frederick Brosen

I saw this painting in person at the Brooklyn Museum last night. It is massive! And I really like it. I wish I had a copy of it for myself. I remember the Astroland rocket being perched like that atop the stores in Coney Island. These days, the rocket is just...there. I would suspect that most people who pass by the rocket today don't even know the story behind this Astroland rocket.
