Stephen Powers at Brooklyn Museum

Stephen Powers' show at The Brooklyn Museum recently got extended until August of this year. It was originally supposed to be gone at the end of this month, so if you haven't seen his signs and paintings in person, now is a great time to go!

I had the wonderful opportunity to see him LIVE AND IN PERSON this past Saturday at The Brooklyn Museum. He was on hand to paint a new sign which I presume will be a part of the display at the museum showcasing his work.

This portion of the show is just one part of an extended exhibition the museum is putting on about the history and legacy of Coney Island. Powers' portion is called Coney Island Is Still Dreamland (To A Seagull).
