Pantone’s Colors of the year for 2016

This isn't exactly new news, but I find it very amusing that Pantone ended up choosing two colors for this year. I can't remember them ever doing this before (it's always just been a single color in previous years). The reason for the two choices? Apparently something about how harmonious they are with each other and how they compliment each other.

Officially, the colors are Serenity (Pantone 15-3919) and Rose Quartz Pantone 13-1520, a lovely set of colors that can otherwise be described as blue and pink. If you start seeing these around, well, now you know why.
