Gas Station designed by Atelier SAD in Slovakia
Look at this beautiful gas station designed by Atelier SAD in Slovakia. The shelter over the pumps are made mostly of concrete columns supporting a round rooftop with embedded light strips at the tops of the columns. A clever and nice way to hide lighting while still giving off plenty of illumination.
The store itself is less concrete, more wood, with giant glass panels to see who is stealing gas. Just kidding (maybe?). All together, I think the station pokes out of the landscape with just enough character to make drivers want to stop and fill up. I bet the bathroom is nice.
