2017 Ford Police Interceptor Utility has smaller interior light bar

I just think this looks kind of cool. I don't really care either way though that the cars are now harder to pick out in traffic. I mean, let's face it, a cop car is always going to look like a cop car. Tinted windows, no hub cabs, search lights...I can go on. To the untrained eye I guess they could look like regular cars if they were missing the lights on top, but does anybody actually only look for the lights? Don't they look for the model of the car first?
