Google App's New Voice

I meant to write about this a while back but I sort of forgot to highlight it until just now.

So now that it's been out for about a month, have you taken notice of it? What am I talking about? Google's new voice! If you use Google Now, the Google voice search (in the Google App), or even Google Maps navigation, you may have noticed a much better sounding voice. The new Google voice is less robotic, more natural in intonation, and a whole lot better at sounding less disconnected from the task at hand.

I love it, to be honest, because it goes in such stark contrast to Siri's unenthusiastic, robotic voice. I wish Apple would do something about their voice assistant. Maybe implement that new Viv technology?
