This is Apple's new design aesthetic for their retail stores
WIRED shows us the new flagship Apple store in San Francisco that introduces the next phase in Apple's plan for their retail stores. The new store design incorporates some aspects of nature with a tree grove and lots more wood (which replaces the plentiful aluminum paneling seen in current stores). One of the main features of this particular store (and maybe future stores as well) is the giant sliding front doors that can open up to 40-feet wide. No more Genius Bar either, at least by name.
