Watch Edward Snowden hack his own cellphone to avoid the NSA

Shane Smith from VICE met up with Edward Snowden in Moscow to talk about how on one could potentially be tracked by the NSA simply by carrying a cellphone in their pocket. The individual components in a cellphone like the microphone, camera, and even GPS can be turned on by clever hacks and really the only way to make sure that doesn't get Snowden in harm's way is to remove those components on a physical level inside the phone. This guy knows what he's doing.
