Rolf Steinmann's journey into the Musk Ox's world

What a freaky looking animal of the wild. The musk ox, named aptly for its pungent smell and long hair, is a beast seemingly from another era. It lives in frigid climates and travel in slow-moving groups. At first, you might think you're looking at a rock jutting out from the white landscape. But then a head turns, and you see those horns. A little intimidating but despite their size, still graceful in their movements.

This short documentary from Rolf Steinmann shows off the beauty of these creatures with a sad little factoid at the end: The habitat of these creatures is changing rapidly due to global warming. :(
