My brother sent me this link to an article on iO9 describing the Space Camp movie as one of the greatest creations of the '80s. My brother went to Space Camp and came home with this movie in hand I think and I vaguely remember watching it on VHS tape at home. The story follows a group of kids going to Space Camp, all played by relatively big breakout stars at the time -- Lea Thompson, Larry Scott, Joaquin Phoenix, Tate Donovan, and Kelly Preston (among a few other big names).
