Martin Creed's 'Understanding' at Brooklyn Bridge Park

Uh, so I guess I saw this earlier in the summer but I never got a chance to blog about it. From today until October 23rd of this year, if you head on over to Brooklyn Bridge Park, you'll be greeted by a huge billboard-sized rotating neon sign that says 'Understanding'.

The large-scale artwork is the work of Martin Creed and a part of the numerous public art works around the city by Public Art Fund. If you go at the right time (maybe around dusk), you'll get a fantastic shot of it with the setting sun in the background. Not to mention the cityscape of Manhattan as well from certain angles. Visit anytime from 6AM-11PM daily.
