Photos of abandoned 9th Avenue Subway Station

Photos by Herman Yung

Come here late at night and you might find yourself the only person on the train platform. The active platform that is. But underneath the active 9th Avenue station is another set of tracks that are now being used by repair crews as storage and sometimes as a holding location for trains. It's an interesting place if you get to see it in person -- graffiti per usual and just neat little remnants of a station that was once used as an active platform. Lights are on, so that helps too.
