The Google Clips camera is an interesting idea

Hmm, ok. At first glance I thought this new Google Clips camera was kind of stupid. But after seeing The Verge video on it below, I think the idea for what this could be might turn out pretty fantastic. The Google Clips camera uses some sort of AI (presumably internet connected) to learn about what it sees and then decides on its own to take a photo/video of that scene. User input can be forced of course, but the real difference here is that this camera acts entirely on its own; it's a robot computer deciding what is beautiful and meaningful to capture and store.
