NYPD Monitoring Protests From Joint Operations Center

This is interesting. From this CBS News report, it seems like the NYPD’s Joint Operations Center, which monitors and activates NYPD patrol units city-wide, is pretty much just looking at real-time information on Twitter (which you and I can do from home or on the street).
