New major features in Photoshop 2021
The AI features coming into Photoshop is incredible. I would have loved this when I was a full time retoucher!
ScreenShot PSD makes layered Photoshop files of your Mac screengrabs
I take a lot of screengrabs for work. A lot. And sometimes, I need those screengrabs to be layered PSD files so that I can move items around and not worry about what's in front of what or where any particular window is located. I used to use an app called Layers to do this but it looks like its abandonware now so I went in search of another.
I found this: ScreenShot PSD. It's also a bit dated (last updated in 2012) but it seems to do the job just fine and at least it's on the Mac App Store for free. Can't beat that I suppose. Glad to have this type of app back on my computer.
Latest Lightroom update introduces Boundary Warp for imperfect panoramas
This is cool. Boundary Warp is a new panorama tool in the latest Adobe Lightroom CC 2015.4 / 6.4 update that prevents portions of your panorama from being cropped if your source images weren't perfect to begin with.
On top of that, this update should fix the stupid video import bug that prevented images from being added to the catalog if there was a video file present in that same folder. We'll see...
Fix cache error in Adobe Bridge
Ever get this error in Adobe Bridge?
Bridge encountered a problem and is unable to read the cache. Please try purging the central cache in cache preferences to correct the situation.
It doesn't seem to go away even after your purge the cache in the app preferences, so here's how to fix it.
1. Close Bridge.
2. Hold down CMD+OPTION+SHIFT and open Bridge again.
3. You will see a dialog box. Check "Reset Preferences" and "Purge Entire Thumbnail Cache".
That's it. That should fix the original error dialog box and make Bridge run smoothly again. Do note though that you'll have to set all your preferences again including folder favorites.
