Blink-182's new music video is an homage to "What's My Age Again"
Blink-182 is back with a brand new music video for their song "She's Out Of Her Mind". The video is a sort of tribute to the band's earlier music video for "What's My Age Again" in which the band members run naked through Los Angeles. This time, the video features social media stars Lele Pons, Hannah Stocking and Vale Genta.
If you've never seen the original music video, here it is below.
Kye Smith plays a drum cover medley of Blink-182 songs
Wow. It's easy to forget sometimes that Blink-182 has some really hardcore punk rock roots because their more commercially successful music has always rode the line of pop-punk rather than real punk-rock. If you want to really hear the difference, all you have to do is listen to this chronological drum medley by Kye Smith and listen for the drum style change after Dude Ranch (that's the last album with original Blink-182 drummer Scott Raynor who was then later replaced by Travis Barker). Both Blink-182 drummers are great though!
Tom DeLonge explains why "Stay Together For The Kids" is so powerful
This is so awesome. AT&T produced this original series called Ernie Ball: The Pursuit of Tone where artists talk about the stories behind their most important songs. Here is Tom DeLonge (Blink-182, Angels and Airwaves) talking about the Blink-182 song "Stay Together For The Kids". One of my favorite songs of theirs. So powerful when he talks about that guitar sound coming in at the chorus.
Here's one more video below of Tom DeLonge explaining "The Adventure" from Angels and Airwaves (his other band).
