Audio-Technica ATH-WS99BT Solid Bass Bluetooth Wireless Over-Ear Headphones
I really want these but why in the world do they only have 6 hours of playtime?! That's silly.
Anker SoundCore Bluetooth speaker just $26.99 today
I don't think this Anker Bluetooth speaker is as good as the Bose SoundLink Mini II, but for $26.99, even the SoundLink can't touch this!!
Bose Soundlink Mini II
I bought a Bose Soundlink Mini II this past week. I am very impressed with the sound. The deep bass is soothing (no cracking at loud volumes) and the unit allows for multiple Bluetooth connections (perfect for switching between phones and computers very quickly).
Battery life is just ok, but otherwise, everything about this Soundlink Mini II is awesome. Well worth the money I think. Get one here.
Full-sized Bluetooth keyboard for Mac
Ah! So they do make a full-sized Bluetooth keyboard for the Mac! Somehow I missed this up until now, but it looks like Matias (the same company that makes that neat mechanical keyboard) has a full-sized Bluetooth keyboard for Macs available in 4 colors!
How to add Bluetooth to an IBM Model M mechanical keyboard
I have no idea why I'm looking this up. I will probably never do this. Heck, I don't even have an IBM Model M to take apart. But if you do, this tutorial here is a great read on how to convert this fantastic mechanical keyboard into a Bluetooth one. Old tech with new parts!
Bose SoundLink Mini II
I come across a lot of different Bluetooth speakers in my line of work. It seems like every time I'm on set, there's a new Bluetooth speaker to play around with. By far the best sounding one in my opinion is the Bose SoundLink Mini Speaker II. A bit of a surprise too, since this speaker is smaller than most that I've seen brought onto set. But size doesn't matter much here. The SoundLink Mini II is capable of blasting lots of sound without distortion. This is an important factor since many Bluetooth speakers claim to be able to get very loud, but at what cost? At the cost of sound quality? If so, then what's the point if it all sounds loud but it sounds terrible?
The SoundLink Mini II is loud and clear with Bose signature bass-heavy EQ. It actually sounds very full in a variety of songs I've tested with it. The only downside really is that this speaker costs $179. Other speakers that are just slightly worse than this cost less, but for the best of the best, I think this is the one.
Tell me how wrong I am in the comments!
