John Cho on diversity in Hollywood
I like the way John Cho here describes diversity in film.
Columbus (2017)
I saw this film in a tiny theater at the IFC the other night and I cannot stop thinking about it. It is a slow-paced but beautiful film about loss, death, and struggle and the human connections that help get people through tough times. It spoke to me.
The film's main character is the city of Columbus, Indiana, a real-life destination for art and architecture nerds.
This film has received some incredibly reviews and I feel like for me, it's that rare gem of an indie movie that I wholeheartedly agree with critics on. I mean, look at this: A Metacritic score of 89 and a Rotten Tomatoes score of 97%.
This movie doesn't have a wide release so catch it in theaters if you can. This is definitely a must-own once it comes out on digital home release.
Columbus (movie trailer)
Wow, this movie looks beautiful. I don't even know what it's about really, but now I'm going to go see it.
