Going to India to make your own manhole cover
Scotty doesn't quite get the task done, but in the process he meets a friendly man who shows him around anyway.
Inside the Thief's Market - in Mumbai
This guy's YouTube channel is one of my favorites. It's been a while since I've checked in with him, but he seems to still be traveling and making amazing videos from the other side of the world.
World Order did a music video in India
I've realized that part of the joy in watching these videos (other than seeing these guys move like robots) is actually watching the confused faces in the crowds as World Order does their thing.
Horn Please: The Decorated Trucks of India
Just can't get enough of this Horn Please documentary. I found out there's a book too! The book contains tons of photos by Dan Eckstein of these magnificent looking trucks and is a true inspiration to anybody looking for some next-gen lettering technique.
HORN PLEASE: A documentary about Indian truck art
This might be my favorite video in a while. HORN PLEASE is a documentary by Shantanu Suman that documents the colorful art adorning many trucks in India. I have never really heard about this subculture until now but it reminds me of a low-tech version of Japan's own truck culture known as Dekotora. LOVE THIS TO DEATH!
