Tokyo Gifathon by James Curran
I saw all of these without sound during James Curran's 30 days in Japan. It was something nice to look forward to every single morning. Now, here they all are with sounds by David Kamp
James Curran's LA Gifathon all in one video
James Curran's awesome 30-day Gifathon in Los Angeles has come to an end and he put them all together in this wonderful video. Watch it!
If you want to see how he makes these wonderful GIFs, you can check out this video here. You can also see more of his work in his NYC series here.
James Curran explains how he makes animated GIFs
James Curran is one of my favorite original animated GIF makers. And in this video from Adobe Creative Cloud, he explains in tons of detail (with examples too!) of how he goes about creating his wonderful endlessly looping animated GIFs. His GIFs are so simple looking but they seem quite complicated to create. Watch this master of After Effects at work!
James Curran's LA Gifathon
Remember James Curran? He's the artist who created 30 wonderful animated GIFs of NYC which spread like wildfire a few months back. If you haven't been following him on Twitter, you should know that he's been doing basically the same thing -- one animated GIF a day -- of Los Angeles.
His animated GIFs are just fun to watch as they loop over and over again. I have a feeling he'll put them all into one big video at the end of this month like he did with the NYC GIFs, but for now, you can see them all separately on his Twitter.
James Curran created 30 wonderful animated GIFs of NYC in 30 days
I love this so much. In November of this past year, James Curran spent 30 days in NYC and each day he made an animated GIF to sum up his experience here. He created a hashtag, #NYCGifathon, that you can go back and follow or you can see all of the animated GIFs in the video above.
You can also check out each individual GIF on his website.
