Blue Origin completes third launch and landing
Jeff Bezos' Blue Origin rocket successfully completed a third launch and landing on April 2nd. This latest test puts the company one step closer to sub-orbital space travel which could happen as early as 2018!
The thing that I am most impressed by every time I've seen the Blue Origin rocket liftoff is how clear the video is. It almost looks fake -- like a creation straight out of the computer. And if it weren't for the huge news that this was, I'd be more inclined to believe it was all made up. But either way, this is pretty exciting.
Blue Origin space rocket goes on 2nd journey to space and successfully lands back on Earth
On January 22, 2016, the Blue Origin became the first spacecraft to go to outer space and land successfully -- twice. That's a big deal, especially since another popular spacecraft has been unable to land successfully despite multiple attempts.
If you don't already know, Blue Origin's tests are in preparation for real space travel for everybody in the future using reusable spacecraft that can bring people and cargo to space and land back safely on Earth to do it over and over again. This successful landing is a very, very good thing.
