CLINT MARIO small pop-up in LES
This weekend, graffiti and street artist CLINT MARIO had an exhibit of small artwork on display at a storefront in the Lower East Side. Here are some photos from the grand opening on Friday night.
A night of bombing with DEBT in the Lower East Side
For any graffiti fan, it's very obvious that the recent NYC blizzard that hit almost 2 weeks ago was an amazing time for writers. The snow coupled with the instructions by city government to stay indoors if possible and avoid mass transit meant that writers could freely roam the streets and tag things up. Sure, cops were out too, but in those blizzard conditions, how were they going to catch anybody? It was a free for all and all you have to do is walk down a few blocks to see the results.
12ozProphet followed DEBT as he enjoyed a night out on the town with spray paint in hand. Check it out above.
Invader's Leonardo from TMNT in the LES
How did I miss this for so long?! I bike by Broome St and Allen St all the time and never looked up until tonight. Probably due to the snow that was falling down. But I'm glad I did, because I just spotted my 2nd Invader piece this week!
