NSYNC performs "Tearin Up My Heart" at 1999 MTV Spring Break
This is so damn funny to watch 20 years later!
Jersey Shore: Family Vacation
Milk it, MTV!
Also, if anybody cares, MTV has been posting a series of hilarious cast-react videos to the original casting tapes from Jersey Shore.
Every house from MTV's Real World mapped
Curbed went around the world (not really, but close enough I guess) to map out every extravagant house used in MTV's 32-season-run of The Real World. Reading the recaps of each season is worth it just by itself.
MTV will start a new channel showing old MTV programming
Do you yearn for the days of Beavis and Butt-head, Dario, TRL, and The Real World? Well, your dream is about to come true! MTV just announced that they are rebranding the VH1 Classic channel as "MTV Classic" and it will air a ton of programming from the golden years of MTV (you know, around the time it actually played music videos).
The channel will debut on August 1st and will begin with a rebroadcast of "MTV Hour One" which was MTV's first broadcast 35 years ago.
Watch these amazing MTV channel bumpers created by TMRRW
MTV has sort of always been known to experiment with completely wacky channel bumpers. This set made for MTV Asia (Singapore, I think) by TMRRW is seriously awesome. It's like a mishmash of '90s internet graphics and animated gifs, old Windows PCs, and Lisa Frank. Sprinkle in a little Snapchat and you get this.
If you want to see the other channel bumpers from TMRRW, you can watch them on Vimeo. The great thing about this is that since they are channel bumpers, they aren't very long and will be over before you even know it!
