Sabrent USB 3.1 Aluminum Enclosure for M.2 NVMe SSD
I just had to buy one of these for work and I was kind of blown away. I honestly thought this enclosure was going to be plasticky, just like many enclosures, and be pretty vulnerable to breaking under any sort of pressure. But no, this is a genuine all-metal enclosure with heft! It is heavy, in a good way, and it makes me feel like it will do a great job of protecting the valuable m.2 SSD that I put inside (which on another side note, seems to be cheaper than traditional 2.5” size SSDs).
My recommendation? Get this Sabrent USB 3.1 enclosure with the highly rated Intel 660p M.2 SSD. If you need insane speeds, the Samsung SSD 970 EVO is still king (but you’ll be paying a lot more).
Samsung's Robot Vacuum looks cool
I guess I really shouldn’t be surprised since Samsung makes just about everything, but I didn’t know until recently that they made robot vacuums. One of their top tier robot vacuums, the POWERbot R9250 is only $400 today instead of the usual $1000.
Samsung's First Tablet: The $5,000 PenMaster From 1992!
Dang, look at that old Samsung logo.
How Samsung Galaxy Note 7s were tested for quality assurance
A pretty boring video here, but I just liked the shots of the Samsung phone testing facility.
Samsung now has its own cylindrical desktop computer
Check this out. Samsung has copied the cylindrical shape of Apple's Mac Pro and while it sure does look good, Samsung seems to have forgotten that the reason the Mac Pro is successful as a cylindrical computer is because it expands externally via Thunderbolt (I'm not talking about measly peripherals here). This Samsung cylinder has no expandability beyond USB 3 peripherals which don't even offer the same data throughput as Thunderbolt.
Nice, but it really just ends there on the looks.
