This man made an iPhone 6s from scratch with parts from Shenzhen
This is so amazing. This man put together his own iPhone 6s with parts he sourced and bought in Shenzhen. In the process, his video shows an in-depth look at how Apple may put together some of these phones. Apple would certainly never show these steps like this. Everything needed in this phone is so tiny and yet this guy has almost no problem finding every small part. They sometimes even come in small plastic bags. How do these vendors even keep track of this stuff?
Simone Giertz visits the Shenzhen Electronics Market
I want to come here so bad. It looks like a place to get into a lot of mischief.
Shenzhen: The Silicon Valley of Hardware (Full Documentary)
WOW! A surprising YouTube find right here -- and all for free too! WIRED UK uploaded this full documentary called Shenzhen: The Silicon Valley of Hardware that talks about the sudden rise of this small former fishing village in China that is taking the tech world by storm. Really interesting documentary and now I really want to visit this place.
Watch these 3 guys scale the Shun Hing Tower in Shenzhen
What the hell, man? I have sweaty palms just watching this video. Isn't the fear of dying a healthy thing to have? These 3 people seem to not have it at all as they scale the Shun Hing Tower in Shenzhen without any safety harnesses whatsoever. Every time I watch one of these videos of people rooftopping I imagine the horrible consequences that would result if they dropped even just one small object by accident (memory card, coin, etc.). Eeks!
