Toy Fair 2016 recap

Yesterday, I went to Toy Fair at the Jacob Javits Center in NYC. The Toy Fair is one of the largest toy vendor events in the nation, with people from all over the world coming to NYC to show off and sell new toys. The event really isn't for the general public since you aren't meant to go in and buy single items but entire cases, cartons, and/or containers of items for retail stores. But still, as a regular person, it was pretty fun to walk through.

As always, there's a lot of garbage here, but among that garbage were a number of gems as well. This Toy Fair had a lot of drones to show off, some really neat science toys for kids, and a whole mess of scooters (are those making a comeback?). It's hard to tell what eventually will be the next toy craze, after all, I'm not a kid, but I'm pretty confident I at least walked by it yesterday. So, uh, cool points for me?
