Xiaomi Mi Electric Scooter is $350 today
The US-only version of the Xiaomi Mi Electric Scooter is $350 today. This baby folds down, goes up to 18.6 miles on a charge, and weighs about 27 pounds (about the weight of a standard hybrid bicycle, but much more manageable).
Xiaomi Mijia HD Projector (Youth Edition)
This China-only release of the slightly better Xiaomi Mijia LDP projector is pretty impressive still. It seems to be incredibly bright and compact.

This thing, at $599, is just expensive enough for me not to buy it. But it has high reviews. I’m sure this will only get cheaper over time.
Stress testing the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air
I always find it a bit funny that humans built machines specifically to stress test other machines (Dyson, I'm looking at you and your awesome stress test videos!). Anyway, I often think that the stress testing machines themselves are more interesting than the product being test. In this case, it certainly holds true. Here is the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air (can they not think of a better name?) being bent, twisted, dropped, poked, and manipulated by other machines.
Xiaomi releases a 4K drone for $460
Who didn't see this coming? I mean, Xiaomi already makes a GoPro competitor and they're based in China, home of the copycat tech industry -- so why wouldn't this have come out? I mean, look at this thing. The specs are impressive and so is the initial demo video below.
4K video on a drone for under $500? Even if this isn't the DJI killer on usability alone, it sure as hell will put some pressure on DJI and other major drone manufacturers to not only innovate faster but also keep prices low. If the action-camera industry is any indication, having Chinese competitors in the market is going to be great (a great flood of products at cheap prices!).
