Vornado VFAN retro-inspired air circulators

It's finally hot in NYC and that means air conditioners are being installed back into windows. But sometimes A/C just doesn't feel the same as an outside breeze -- especially when you're stuck in an office or a house all day. And what better way to move that outside air in than with a properly placed Vornado VFAN?

These awesome fans are a tribute to Vornado's rich history in fan-making, taking some design cues from their fans produced in the '40s and '50s. With an all-metal construction and a wonderful green and gold color scheme, these fans are the perfect fit for an equally retro-inspired home -- or even as a standout piece in a more modern one! The fan can be positions completely upright too if you want to circulate air in a room rather than have air pointed directly at you. While it does get a little noisy at the highest setting, it is virtually silent at its low speed (good enough for me!).

I recommend the full-size version shown here but if you are space-conscious, there's a smaller desktop version available too.

This fan is timeless, beautiful, and of course it includes Vornado's amazing vortex air circulation technology which helps move more air in a confined space than most other fans on the market (seriously, once you use a Vornado, you'll understand how these fans blow in a good way).
