This man spent over $150,000 recreating a Pan Am 747 airplane cabin
Anthony Toth spent over $150,000 recreating a 747 Pan Am 747 airplane cabin to extreme detail. Everything from the carpet to the seats to the airplane galley is reconstructed to resemble what a Pan Am 747 would be like in that era. Some of the smaller things are neat, like the vintage tickets and stubs to the Pan Am airline counter boards and even some mechanical equipment.
Halfway through the video I kept thinking, Man, this would be a great movie set, and I guess it's nice to know that he actually rents it out for such ocassions. Cool, huh?
Chronicle Collectibles made a prop replica of the Jurassic Park night vision goggles
This is pretty cool. Chronicle Collectibles is supposedly coming out with a true-to-film prop replica of the night vision goggles from the original Jurassic Park movie. The company is also wanting to release a prop replica of the Barbasol aerosol can that holds the dinosaur DNA...but they just need licensing sign off from Barbasol. Make it happen! Would be a cool shelf item!
