What happened to Volvo's Life Paint reflective spray paint?

Last year, Volvo made a huge splash online with the announcement of "Life Paint", a can of reflective spray paint that could be used virtually anywhere as a quick safety measure to make sure you are seen in the darkest of circumstances.

Despite coming from a car company, the spray paint was hailed as a way for cyclists to protect themselves while riding at night. The promo video (below) was pretty awesome and immediately generated a ton of interest despite the product only being available on a "trial" basis in 2 UK bike shops.

But by now, the trial must be over right? Where is Life Paint? Where can you buy this?

Blitzu rear bicycle light review

I've been using this new bicycle light lately from Blitzu. It's the highest rated LED light strip made specifically for bicycles and helmets. It uses a silicon attachment that allows the light to mount vertically or horizontally and outputs an astonishing 120 lumens of light (both front and rear).

I currently have the rear red light mounted on my MSC bike and it's awesome. It's super bright and comes with strobe, normal flashing, and always-on settings all in low-powered or high-powered modes.

Definitely makes me more visible at night. If you want to get them, please use the links below and help support this site!

The MTA has hurricane storm covers for Subway entrances

Photo: MTA

I've never seen these before. The MTA just showed off this photo of Fiberglass and Flex-Gate stair covers for Subway entrances that would be deployed in the event that a hurricane or major storm brought heavy rains to stations flood-prone areas. I wonder how water-tight these are. Do they just allow for a slower leak instead of a torrential flood? So interesting...

A few more examples here.
