Not Ready for Prime Time as a News Photographer's Camera
It boggles my mind that people would use these Fujifilm cameras as work horses. They just aren't.
Bronica ETR-Si 40th Anniversary edition
Look at this gorgeous near-mint condition pearl-colored Bronica ETR-Si. This special colorway of the medium format camera was made for the 1999 40th anniversary release of the ETR-Si. While most of these cameras go for about $300ish, this special edition will run you close to $1200.
Capture One Film Styles Pack
I've been slowing transitioning major Lightroom catalogs of mine over to Capture One because Adobe can go eat shit. Their latest update (a major one according to them) just shows me that they are more intent on making money via subscriptions than actually improving their software for use.
Over the years, Capture One has gotten incrementally faster and better to use not just for photo editing but photo managing too. The best thing Lightroom had going for it was photo management, but even that they've managed to screw up over the years. So slowly, I am saying goodbye to Lightroom until Adobe gets its act together. It just makes ZERO sense why Lightroom will run so slowly on modern computers when Capture One can essentially do the same thing at blazing speed.
DJI Inspire 2 with Zenmuse X7 6K camera
I will never buy one of these, but the top tier DJI drones and cameras always hint towards what the company will put into their smaller prosumer drones. This is pretty exciting.
