Canon's 120MXS 120MP CMOS sensor in action
The 120MXS is an ultra-high resolution CMOS sensor with 13280 x 9184 effective pixels(approx. 60x the resolution of Full HD). It has a size equivalent to APS-H (29.22mm x 20.20mm), and a square pixel arrangement of 2.2µm x 2.2µm with 122 million effective pixels. Ultra-high-resolution is made possible by parallel signal processing, which reads signals at high speed from multiple pixels. All pixel progressive reading of 9.4fps is made possible by 28 digital signal output channels. It is available in RGB or with twice the sensitivity, in monochrome
This weird gimbal interference issue has happened to me before on my DJI Mavic Pro
Scared the hell out of me when it did this. I never went back to that area again to film.
Pelican 1510 high-visibility version in lime green
I think this is cool. Right? I dunno. I mean, look at this crazy bright green Pelican 1510 carry-on case. Typically you would see these in black or desert tan, but Pelican has a high-visibility series that includes this color as well as a ton of other nasty combinations.
Leica's new glow in the dark camera
Leica's M Monochrom black-and-white-only digital camera now comes in an all-black version with glow in the dark paint highlights. It looks awesome. And is probably a really stupid buy for anybody not named Scrooge McDuck.
Mission Workshop camera insert
This is neat. I didn't know Mission Workshop made a padded camera insert called The Capsule that you can basically fit into any existing backpack or messenger bag. The Capsule is $130 and even works as a standalone unit too.
