Confirmation that you can indeed swap the cameras on the Mavic 2 Pro and Zoom
Obviously not the original intention DJI had, but this video shows that the camera can indeed be swapped between the latest versions of the Mavic 2. At the end of the video, he mentions that this "functionality" may disappear in future firmware updates of the drone, but for now, it seems to work just fine.
Thoughts on the rumored Canon EOS R mirrorless camera
- New RF lens mount (need adapter for EF lens use)
- 14-bit C-RAW @ 30MP is nice
- Roughly same size as Fuji XT-2 but with a better grip
- Not a video camera
- Can charge battery INSIDE the camera (huge plus)
- Burst rate is a bit on the slow side, but not a deal breaker for me
- Touchscreen
Been waiting for this forever.
How to swap the cameras on the DJI Mavic 2 (Pro vs Zoom)
Whoa, this is nuts. DroneDJ has instructions and photos of a user who has successfully swapped their cameras on the Mavic 2 drones.
Plastic case for 120 film
I've been shooting more and more 120 film lately and I've been in search of a way to carry different types of exposed and unexposed film in an organized way. No more film boxes to carry around.
The best solution other than a film bag (which I just don't like) is the 120 film cases on Japan Camera Hunter. However, my gut told me that paying close to $10 PLUS shipping from Japan for these things was just way too much. So I went to see if anybody was selling one on eBay and well, I ended up finding basically the same thing, without the JCH branding, for a fraction of the price (often times with free shipping).
The version above is a 10-roll holder, but you can buy 5-roll holders for incredibly cheap.
