I really want one of these for my 3rd off-site hard drive. Seems like a good place to store important documents and crucial copies of things. I think a safety deposit box would still be safer, technically, but this seems like the next best option.

I saw this the other day at 34th and 8th Avenue. It's one of the city's new boxes for free periodicals and newspapers. These do away with the plastic standalone versions and incorporate a see-thru plastic door with handle to keep out the elements. They certainly look a lot nicer than the old ones. Not sure however if these are only for the Herald Square-ish area or if these are being rolled out citywide.
