The NYPD Has X-Ray Vans

This is an interesting article from The Atlantic about the NYPD's secret X-Ray vehicles used to spy on citizens. The photo above isn't necessarily one of these vehicles (which the article labels as "military-grade vans") but former NYPD Commissioner Bill Bratton's reluctance to talk about it when asked all but confirms that the police department has at least one of these. It is reported that each vehicle costs somewhere between $729,000 and $825,000.
