Lady Gaga at Yale's Emotion Revolution Summit

I searched for this longer full video because I saw a good snippet of it posted elsewhere. The video I saw features Lady Gaga on stage at Yale University's Emotion Revolution Summit talking about why she essentially quit the music industry (that portion starts at around the 9:30 mark in the video above). I don't get the sense that she has quit the music industry at all, but her reasons for doing so reveal so much tension between herself and the industry as a whole. Lots of fakeness and worthless banter all around.

The summit is a place to gather people to "build awareness of the critical role emotions play in young people’s learning, decision-making, academic achievement, and overall wellness". A noble task that I think Lady Gaga handled very well with an eloquent talk and a great Q&A session. If you thought she was just Lady Gaga from all those music videos, you're very wrong.
