The history of the sandstone cliffs along Sunset Blvd in Los Angeles

One thing that wasn't mentioned in VICE's video is the previous history and life of Sunset Blvd which was once the Ostrich Farm Railway. Today, the cut that went through these sandstone cliffs still remains, but no railroad is present. It is now replaced by Los Angeles' asphalt.
