There's a giant empty pool at Rockefeller Center

Photos by Herman Yung

Want to go swimming? TOO BAD. You can't. Not at Rockefeller Center anyway. Because the giant upright and empty swimming pool is a public art installation by Elmgreen and Dragset called Van Gogh's Ear.

The installation is just another project in a line of very famous pieces by the Scandanavian artists. Their most notable being the fake Prada store in Marfa, Texas.

If you're in town, head on over to see this giant '50s pool! Quite a sight!
