Salvation Burger and The Spotted Pig are home to these delicious burgers
Two burgers on my list of must-try eats in NYC are the ones at Salvation Burger and The Spotted Pig. This New York Times article sums up quickly why these burgers reign king at the moment among all of the other equally-delicious burger offerings in NYC. It's funny that NYC has sort of become a burger town in the last few years with plenty of high profile chefs and restaurants offering their own take on the classic American meal. I welcome them all. If NYC becomes burger town, I'd be ok with that.
I have to try this Salvation Burger
I suck at following food news, especially in a place like NYC where the food landscape changes so dramatically from one week to the next. I just find it exhausting to keep up with it all which might explain why I don't write a whole lot about food here to begin with.
But I do occasionally find myself completely in awe of something new around town. This is the Salvation Burger from Salvation Burger, created by April Bloomfield of The Spotted Pig fame. It looks absolutely delicious! I must go and try!
