8 posters from Loan Programs Office show how the U.S. is investing in energy

Check out this set of awesome posters made by the Loan Programs Office. They show off some of the ways the nation has invested in new energy sources while creating new jobs and saving existing ones. Everything from solar power, to geothermal power, electricity storage and transmission, wind energy, cleaner car production, and general power infrastructure is represented here. It's all part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act which President Obama signed 7 years ago.

Inspired by iconic New Deal-era posters, the Energy Department’s Loan Programs Office created its own poster series to highlight projects it helped finance through the Section 1705, Title XVII and ATVM programs. One of LPO's greatest successes has been helping launch utility-scale PV solar in the United States.

Knowing how successful the New Deal and programs like the Works Progress Administration were, I can only assume this latest act will be just as good. Looking good already, no? You can download all the posters in hi-res right here. Print them out and hang them up!
