This is being sold as an "MTA Vest with Clear Pocket" but I have never seen any NYC MTA employee wear this. Maybe it's not NYC MTA? Help me out here!
Stupid me. You can already buy reflective spray paint
Ok, I guess you can all call me stupid and disregard my previous post (see here). Reflective spray paint isn't a new thing at all. You can readily buy it at any hardware store. Toodles!
If you don't want to mess with spray paint, here's a more DIY option that involves reflective microbeads.
What happened to Volvo's Life Paint reflective spray paint?
Last year, Volvo made a huge splash online with the announcement of "Life Paint", a can of reflective spray paint that could be used virtually anywhere as a quick safety measure to make sure you are seen in the darkest of circumstances.
Despite coming from a car company, the spray paint was hailed as a way for cyclists to protect themselves while riding at night. The promo video (below) was pretty awesome and immediately generated a ton of interest despite the product only being available on a "trial" basis in 2 UK bike shops.
But by now, the trial must be over right? Where is Life Paint? Where can you buy this?
